National Museum of Australia, Canberra.
The culmination of the Namatjira Project, working since 2009 to restore justice to the Namatjira Project, the time has come to launch the Namatjira Legacy Trust!
The Namatjira Legacy Trust will work to secure positive futures for this iconic community and family.
The watercolour movement is their strongest asset – internationally recognised, and an avenue to generate income at the same time as connecting to country, heritage and culture.
The Trust will work alongside Iltja Ntjarra Many Hands Art Centre to resource activities to support this watercolour movement and community – to assist livelihoods and wellbeing to thrive.
It is a charitable trust with deductible gift recipient status (DGR). All donations over $2 are tax deductible.
The Namatjira Legacy Trust is governed by a board of Trustees, and controlled by its members the Namatjira family.
