The countdown to the Araluen Celebration begins…3 days to go!

The cast, crew and artists have been working hard, as preparations for Albert Namatjira: a celebration of his life and legacy swing into full gear.

The celebration events will take place on Saturday 7th August at 7pm and Sunday 8th August at 2pm at the Araluen Centre, Alice Springs. Entry is by gold coin donation and everyone is welcome, so come and enjoy:

- performances from Archie Roach and the Ntaria Singers;

- excerpts from the Namatjira theatre show;

- a free bush-way BBQ, generously provided by Outback Pride and Gayle Quarmby;

- a display of pots by the Hermannsburg Potters, and;

- the ‘Namatjira: Next Generation’ art exhibition on display.
